ROLE
As a Finance Analyst for Business Services, you will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of core finance activities, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and month-end reporting for Business Services overheads. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you will contribute to the preparation of management accounts, perform variance analysis, assist with accruals and journal postings, and help deliver timely financial reports and presentations for senior management. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives and provide meaningful financial insights. This role offers exposure to real-world financial operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical, commercial, and business partnering skills while contributing to key business decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Support the preparation of departmental budgets, forecasts, and month-end reporting

Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Perform month-end close activities, including journal postings, accruals, prepayments, and management reporting

Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including insightful financial commentary

Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and cross-functional teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives and business decision-making

Continuously develop financial knowledge and skills through hands-on experience, collaboration, and mentorship
WHO YOU ARE
-
Recently completed a postgraduate degree in Management, Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related field.

AAT-qualified or part-qualified and actively working towards CIMA or ACCA (S)

Up to 1 year of relevant experience, such as internships or part-time roles in finance, management, or related fields

A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on new challenges

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders

Exceptional quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data and communicate insights effectively
