Role Summary 

Eko Health is seeking a part-time Clinical Product Strategy Intern to work directly alongside one of the Co-Founders on next-generation AI and digital stethoscopes. In this role, you will conduct competitive market research, build business cases for new product concepts, and help shape features that streamline workflows for healthcare providers.

This highly flexible position (~10 hours/week) is designed to fit around your academic schedule, prioritizing your studies while giving you hands-on experience inside a leading medical startup. The role can be fully remote or hybrid, depending on your preference.

Essential Functions 

  • Conduct competitive market analysis and user research to evaluate new digital stethoscope concepts.

  • Evaluate leading clinical AI products to determine which of their features are and are not successful.  

  • Use data to help build business cases on product strategy and clinical workflows. 

  • Collaborate directly with the Co-Founder to brainstorm, define, and shape new feature development or enhancements. 

  • Gain insight into medical startup operations by engaging cross-functionally with other teams at Eko

  • Independently manage assigned projects while maintaining transparent communication on progress

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (healthcare, engineering, or a business focus preferred).

  • Demonstrated interest in clinical AI,  medical devices, digital health, or startup operations.

  • Coursework, personal projects or prior internship experience that required strong analytical skills, ie. market research, competitive analysis, or product strategy.

  • Ability to manage your own schedule, balancing ~10 hours of work per week while keeping academic commitments as your top priority. 

  • Deep skill in gathering data, researching market trends, and translating findings into clear product recommendations.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting concepts directly to co-founder

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Experience in Figma is not required but welcome
