Role Purpose
The Product Operations Intern will support internal business teams in managing and improving warehouse management systems, logistics platforms, courier integrations, order flow tools, and operational dashboards. The role will work closely with warehouse, inventory, logistics, product, and tech teams to resolve system issues, track operational bugs, document workflows, support UAT, and improve system adoption across fulfillment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day issue tracking for WMS, OMS, courier platforms, logistics dashboards, and internal operational tools.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, inventory, customer support, and tech teams to understand system-related issues and follow up for closure.
- Maintain trackers for bugs, feature requests, integration failures, order stuck cases, AWB issues, stock sync issues, and user escalations.
- Assist in preparing BRDs, user stories, process flows, SOPs, test cases, and release notes for product and system improvements.
- Support UAT for new features, system changes, courier integrations, warehouse workflows, and automation rollouts.
- Monitor operational exceptions such as order flow failures, dispatch blockers, AWB generation errors, tracking sync issues, and inventory mismatches.
- Help create dashboards and MIS reports to track issue aging, SLA impact, platform adoption, and repeated operational problems.
- Support training and documentation for internal users to ensure correct usage of WMS, logistics platforms, and fulfillment tools.
- Identify repetitive manual work and suggest product/process improvements to reduce errors and escalations.
- Work on special projects related to fulfillment automation, logistics optimization, system adoption, and operational efficiency.
Key Learning Areas
- Ecommerce order lifecycle from order placement to delivery and returns
- Warehouse management system workflows including GRN, putaway, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock adjustment
- Courier platform workflows including AWB generation, tracking, NDR, RTO, and reverse logistics
- Product operations, UAT, BRD writing, SOP creation, and stakeholder coordination
- Dashboarding, issue tracking, root cause analysis, and process improvement
Required Skills
- Good understanding of ecommerce operations or willingness to learn quickly
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong follow-up discipline and ownership mindset
- Ability to work with data, trackers, and operational reports
- Basic understanding of product, tech, or internal tools preferred
- Detail-oriented approach to issue tracking and documentation
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams
