Role in the organization:
Amura is looking for a creative and digitally savvy Social Media Intern who is passionate about content, social media, and personal branding. The candidate will primarily manage and grow the LinkedIn presence of the MD, while also supporting the company's broader social media activities, content initiatives, campaigns, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end LinkedIn presence of the MD, including content planning, ideation, drafting, publishing, and performance tracking.
- Understand the MD's professional journey, expertise, opinions, and communication style and translate them into authentic LinkedIn content.
- Research and develop content around leadership, business, marketing, technology, entrepreneurship, and industry trends.
- Create engaging LinkedIn posts, carousels, thought-leadership content, and other relevant formats.
- Conduct discussions with the MD to identify experiences, insights, opinions, and stories that can be converted into content.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar for the MD's LinkedIn profile.
- Support the company's social media channels across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Assist with content ideation, campaign planning, copywriting, and creative development for social media.
- Monitor social media trends, industry conversations, competitors, and relevant topics to identify new content opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Design, Marketing, and other teams on social media campaigns and creative initiatives.
- Monitor and engage with the social media community, including comments and relevant conversations.
- Track social media performance and prepare regular reports covering reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, and other relevant metrics.
- Analyse content performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement, reach, and brand visibility.
- Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, content formats, and best practices.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content ideation skills.
- Good understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Interest in personal branding and thought leadership.
- Basic knowledge of Canva/design tools and social media analytics.
- Strong research skills and an understanding of digital marketing.
- Creative, proactive, and comfortable experimenting with new content formats.
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and understand/maintain an individual's tone and voice.
