About this role:
Wells Fargo Secure Network Services Internal Hosting development team is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the testing, validation, and certification of Cisco and Arista network platforms within a controlled lab environment. This role is responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, executing hardware and software testing, documenting results, and certifying network operating-system releases and solutions before production deployment.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista switching platforms, network protocols, test automation, and structured validation methodologies. This engineer will work closely with architecture, engineering, operations, security, automation, and vendor teams to identify risks and ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for functionality, interoperability, performance, resiliency, and operational readiness
In this role, you will:
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of network development experience using languages like PowerShell, Ansible, or Python.
Desired Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, interpersonal communication skills
Strong technical writing skills
Strong Network Design Skills
Knowledge and understanding of network architecture and standards development
Ability to research, design, implement, and test industry best practices
