The Opportunity

We are seeking an International Benefits Analyst to join our Firm. This position will be based in our NY office (hybrid).

Position Overview

This role is responsible for the implementation, configuration, enhancement and maintenance of Workday for international benefits. The person in this role will troubleshoots system issues, perform data audits, implement system upgrades, create reports, and ensure system compliance with local statutory requirements across multiple countries. This role will act as the liaison between Benefits, Payroll, People Team and system vendors to maximize system efficiency.  This role is hybrid and will be based in New York.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for multi-country benefits implementations and enhancements, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements.
  • Designs, tests, deploys, and troubleshoots new benefits system features, standards, procedures, calculated fields, and reports, with particular focus on international offices.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting benefits system issues for multi-country operations.
  • Collaborates across teams to ensure seamless and efficient benefits processing.
  • Maintains data quality and timely updates of international benefits configurations.
  • Provides system expertise and mitigates risks by developing effective contingency plans and escalating issues appropriately; prepares project schedules and ensures all requirements are addressed throughout enhancements and process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Performs Workday system analysis and consults with Technology team members and other stakeholders to offer solutions
  • Instrumental in the design, implementation, and support of new benefits functionality, particularly around  internal and external integrations for international offices.
  • Provides functional support to the technical team on systems development initiatives and resolves reported production issues and defects.
  • Provides expertise in developing design options and collaborating with functional areas such as HCM, IT, and Payroll, as well as informing future product direction.
  • Audits benefits processes and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with local statutory requirements, on an as-needed basis.
  • Recommends system enhancements to streamline processes and create efficiencies. 
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Regular and reliable physical presence to work as part of a team.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Knowledge of international benefits standards and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws.
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational planning, and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of benefits HRIS experience in a global professional services industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of Workday benefits HRIS experience including benefits configurations experience required

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details.  Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

Salary Details

$110,000 - $125,000
