You will complete your internship in Evonik's central process engineering department (TE-VT). This is where new processes and technologies are developed and a large number of processes and plants for various business units are optimized. As a dynamic team, Process Engineering offers excellent opportunities to get involved, gain an impression of opportunities within the company and develop personally and professionally.
Development of process control strategies, e.g. advanced process control with multi-variable controllers, including the associated development of dynamic models for process plants
Online optimization of plants using thermodynamic and/or statistical models
Information technology integration of process, operational and corporate management levels in production plants
Plant optimization from process analysis to implementation in interdisciplinary teams
There are often several projects to choose from. If you contact us at an early stage, about 3 months before your desired start date, stating your main areas of interest, we will have enough time to coordinate an interesting field of activity with you.
Successfully completed intermediate diploma or at least 120 credits in a Bachelor's degree program - ideally in the above-mentioned subjects
Good command of English
Knowledge of basic data software (MS Office) and simulation software (Matlab)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Initiative, sense of responsibility, flexibility
