The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.

Lonza Ltd. offers a commercial internship in the HR Operations Switzerland Team to support the department. During the internship you will gain an insight into the daily business of an international active company and the activities in the Human Resources department. Throughout your internship, you will support the administrative tasks on daily basis, and you will be given the opportunity to contribute as an active team member within our team.

This is an office‑first role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

What you will do:

  • Support team members with all administrative activities of the onboarding process for new starters.
  • Manage tasks related to the employee life cycle, including the exit process, to guarantee smooth transitions.
  • Cooperate closely with HR partners, including Recruiters and HR Business Partners.
  • Coordinate monthly events for new employees.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, such as processing interview expenses and managing spontaneous applications.

  • Flexibility and eagerness to acquire new knowledge and adapt to new challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Dedication to contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
