Position Title: Inventory Controller

Location: Lymington, UK, Onsite

Position Overview

The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock integrity, and supporting operational efficiency across warehouse activities. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, process compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure inventory is managed effectively and customer service requirements are met.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Health, Safety & Housekeeping

  • Inventory Accuracy & Stock Control

  • Stock Auditing & Compliance

  • Receiving & Put-Away Verification

  • Inventory Analysis & Reporting

  • Warehouse Process Improvement

  • Operational Support

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Inventory Control, Stock Control, or Warehouse Administration role.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.

  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience within a 3PL, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

  • Understanding of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principles.

  • Experience supporting inventory audits and compliance programmes.

  • Counterbalance or Reach Truck license (where operational support is required
