GO DESi is an IIM-Bangalore incubated FMCG brand building modern, clean-label versions of traditional Indian snacks and sweets. We work across a corporate office in Bengaluru and manufacturing units, with products available on quick commerce, e-commerce and general trade nationally. It's a fast-moving, hands-on environment where small teams own large scopes.
Role Summary
This role keeps the company's technology backbone and physical workplace running. You will own IT systems, devices and access management end to end, and run office administration and employee events for our Bengaluru office with support to factory locations. It suits someone who enjoys being the reliable operator people go to when something needs fixing, setting up or organising.
Key Responsibilities
IT & Systems
Asset & device management
- Procure laptops, desktops, peripherals, mobile devices and networking hardware in line with budget and approval workflows
- Maintain a live asset register covering allocation, condition, warranty and AMC status
- Manage device issue and recovery at joining, transfer and exit, including data backup and wipe
- Track and renew AMCs, warranties and software licences before expiry
Access & account administration
- Create, modify and deactivate user accounts across Google Workspace, HRMS, ERP and other business applications
- Manage group mailboxes, shared drives, permissions and access levels as per role-based policy
- Administer biometric attendance systems and access control at office and factory locations
- Maintain access logs and support periodic access reviews
Infrastructure & vendor management
- Coordinate with vendors for IT hardware, internet and leased lines, CCTV, printers, telephony and software subscriptions
- Track vendor SLAs, resolve service escalations, and process invoices with Finance
- Manage network uptime, Wi-Fi coverage, and basic server or NAS housekeeping
- Support cost optimisation by reviewing subscriptions and utilisation periodically
Support & troubleshooting
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, connectivity, printing and conferencing issues
- Escalate complex issues to vendors or specialists and follow through to closure
- Set up meeting rooms, AV and conferencing for internal and external sessions
- Maintain simple documentation, SOPs and how-to guides for common IT requests
- Support basic IT hygiene — antivirus, patching, password policy, data backup discipline
Office Administration
- Manage day-to-day office operations across housekeeping, pantry, stationery, consumables and general upkeep
- Supervise housekeeping and security staff, including attendance, deployment and performance
- Manage facility maintenance — electrical, plumbing, AC, furniture, safety equipment — through vendors
- Own the admin vendor base: negotiate rates, manage contracts, verify bills and process payments
- Handle travel and stay — flight and train bookings, hotels, cabs, guest arrangements — within policy
- Manage courier, dispatch, front-desk and visitor management
- Track and control the admin budget with monthly reporting on spend
- Maintain office compliance basics — fire safety, first aid, statutory display requirements
Employee Engagement & Event Logistics
- Plan and execute the logistics for employee engagement events, festivals, celebrations and offsites
- Coordinate venues, catering, décor, giveaways, transport and vendor payments
- Support townhalls, review meetings and leadership visits with end-to-end arrangements
- Manage new joiner welcome kits, workstation readiness and Day 1 experience
- Coordinate factory and cross-location event logistics as needed
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 4–6 years in IT administration, office administration or a combined IT & admin role
- Prior exposure to a startup, FMCG, manufacturing or multi-location setup preferred
Technical skills
- Hands-on with Google Workspace administration (users, groups, drives, policies)
- Comfortable with Windows and macOS troubleshooting, basic networking and printer/AV setup
- Working knowledge of HRMS platforms and biometric attendance systems
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets for asset registers, trackers and budget reporting
