Production & Fabrication Support
Assist in operating machines such as cutting, bending, drilling, grinding, or welding equipment.
Support in metal fabrication, component preparation, and assembly activities.
Perform basic measurements using Dumply level, Laser cross liners, Theodolite, Universal fillet gauge, etc.
Prepare materials and tools required for daily production.
Quality & Safety Compliance
Conduct basic visual inspection of fabricated parts.
Follow standard work instructions, SOPs, and quality guidelines.
Maintain 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Ensure compliance with safety rules—PPE usage, housekeeping, near‑miss reporting.
Assist operators/technicians in routine machine checks.
Report abnormalities, breakdown indicators, unusual noises, etc.
Fill daily production logs, checklists, and material movement slips.
Learning & Skill Development
Attend technical training sessions, toolbox meetings, and skill assessments.
Learn fabrication processes, welding basics, machining operations, and safety standards.
Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
ITI (Fitter / Welder / Turner / Machinist / Sheet Metal / Electrician / Fabrication or relevant trade).
Completed ITI through NCVT/SCVT.
Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
Ability to read simple drawings (added advantage).
Good hands‑on practical skills.
Discipline, punctuality, and teamwork.
