We are seeking an experiencedย Java Tech Leadย to lead a high-performing engineering team in designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise inย Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern backend technologies, combined with proven experience leading development teams and driving technical excellence.
As a Java Tech Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the development lifecycle, mentoring engineers, reviewing architecture and code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to build secure, high-performance applications. You will play a key role in delivering scalable solutions, promoting engineering best practices, and ensuring successful project execution in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support high-performance, distributed systems.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Integrate messaging platforms such as Kafka to support event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
- Support CI/CD implementation using tools such as Jenkins to streamline development and deployment workflows.
- Work with MongoDB and SQL databases to design efficient data models and optimize application performance.
- Guide the team in resolving technical challenges, troubleshooting production issues, and improving system reliability.
- Drive Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, technical discussions, estimations, and release planning.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a Technical Lead or Team Lead role.
- Strong hands-on expertise inย Java,ย Spring Boot, andย Microservicesย architecture.
- Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs for enterprise applications.
- Experience working withย ReactJS,ย MongoDB, SQL databases, andย Kafka.
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such asย Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and software engineering best practices.
- Proven experience conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and driving technical quality.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams while balancing technical delivery and business priorities.
- Experience in theย Financial Servicesย domain will be an added advantage.
