About the role:
As a Jeweler Polisher - Aftersales, you will be a key contributor to the restoration, refinement, and preservation of CHANEL fine jewelry—both client‑owned pieces and CHANEL inventory. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, precision, and attention to detail to ensure every creation meets the Maison’s uncompromising aesthetic and craftsmanship standards.
Working closely with Aftersales, Quality, and Boutique teams, you will support an elevated client experience while safeguarding the integrity, value, and heritage of the CHANEL brand.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
- Perform jewelry alterations and repairs in accordance with the Maison standards of quality, included but not limited to:
- high precision polishing and refinishing
- rhodium plating of white gold pieces
- chain sizing, clasp replacement
- adding and removing posts
- ring sizing
- mechanical engraving
- Perform high‑precision polishing and finishing on fine jewelry pieces (18kt gold and platinum. Rhodium plate white gold pieces post polishing.
- Identify and report potential risks or defects during the repair process to Aftersales supervisors.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, and handling procedures, especially for high‑value pieces.
- Collaborate closely with Aftersales repair teams, quality control, and management to meet turnaround timelines.
- Ensure workstations, tools, and polishing equipment are maintained to luxury workshop standards.
- Uphold discretion and confidentiality regarding client pieces and Maison intellectual property.
- Support inventory control, replenishment, and management of repair materials and spare parts.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient repair workshop.
- Identify and report quality or authenticity issues to management.
- Participate in technical training provided by the Regional WFJ Trainer.
- Log repairs accurately, track progress.

- Proven expertise in luxury jewelry repair, polishing, and diagnostics.

Position Logistics:
- Work-Place Essential: This role requires 5 days in person office at the designated location/office.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience as a jeweler polisher, preferably within luxury jewelry, or high‑end craftsmanship environments.
- Expert knowledge of precious metals (gold alloys, platinum, silver) and polishing techniques.
- Expertise in using polishing equipment and laser welder.
- Experience working on high‑value and high‑complexity pieces.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining impeccable quality standards.
- Manual dexterity, steady hands, and excellent visual acuity.
- Computer literacy for repair tracking and claims management.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, patient, and proactive.
- Ability to stand and lift up to 20 lbs.
Compensation:
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $28 through $42. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
