We're looking for an engineer who enjoys building practical solutions, solving real business problems, and shipping code that people actually use.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain and improve internal dashboards and business tools using HTML/CSS/JavaScript, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
- Build new internal tools and automations based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines across Shopify, Google Sheets, GA4, Ginesys, and PostgreSQL.
- Write and optimize SQL queries involving joins, CTEs, aggregations, and window functions.
- Debug production issues, investigate logs, identify root causes, and deploy fixes.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and automate repetitive business processes.
- Work closely with business teams to understand what the business actually needs.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to build, test, validate, and ship faster.
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in software development, automation, backend/full-stack development, or strong project-based experience.
- Comfortable with Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, Git, Linux CLI, SSH, and debugging.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL preferred.
- Comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.
- Has built at least one real-world project, automation, script, dashboard, or tool.
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset.
- Able to understand and verify AI-generated code rather than blindly using it.
- Clear communicator with a practical, business-first approach.
