Role Overview:
The Junior Developer is an entry-level role focused on learning the codebase, fixing bugs, and supporting feature development under mentorship.
The individual demonstrates coachability, teamwork, and proactive learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support API and service development.
- Help with bug fixes and database queries.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Languages: Good knowledge of Kotlin (preferred) and Java.
- Android SDK & Tools: Proficiency in Android Studio, Gradle, and Android Jetpack libraries (Lifecycle, Room, Navigation).
- UI/UX Development: Building responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose, XML, ConstraintLayout, and Material Design guidelines.
- Architecture & Patterns: MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) is standard, with knowledge of MVI or MVP.
- Networking & Data: Handling JSON, RESTful APIs, and using libraries like Retrofit and Gson.
- Any Bachelor’s degree
