Avis Greece is on the hunt for an exceptional Junior Accountant who will be responsible for supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

🎯 Your Mission:

• Assist in monitoring accounts payable to ensure timely payments
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into accounting software and spreadsheets
• Conduct regular audits and account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial reporting for the business
• Assist with asset audits, as necessary
• Assist with other accounting tasks, as assigned by the supervisor
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements

🌟 What Spells Success: Your Qualifications

• Educational Background: University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. A master’s degree or any other professional certificate will be considered as an asset
• Experience: 1 - 2 years of working experience in Accounting
• Analytical Skills: Excel in using MS-Office applications with emphasis on Excel
• Team Player: Exhibit a strong team spirit, ethical conduct, and reliability while also being capable of working independently
• Effective Multi-Tasking: Manage multiple ongoing tasks with shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Integrity: Able to handle sensitive information
• Communication: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
