About this role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Analyst with 1–3 years of relevant experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gathering and analysing business requirements, documenting functional needs, and working closely with development teams. Exposure to AI/ML/DE/BI domains will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior BAs and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in requirement elicitation sessions, stakeholder meetings, and system walkthroughs.
- Translate business requirements into functional workflows and data models.
- Support product and engineering teams during the SDLC by ensuring alignment of requirements and implementation.
- Maintain clear and updated documentation across all project stages.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology (BCA, MCA, BE, BTech).
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks.
- Familiarity with documentation standards including BRD, FRD, use cases, and user stories.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Figma is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience or exposure to AI, ML, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence projects.
- Alternatively, experience as a Business Analyst on web-based applications will also be considered.
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and SQL is desirable.
