We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Cashier to join our Finance Department and support our daily financial operations. The Junior Cashier will be responsible for handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team in ensuring smooth and compliant financial processes across our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: Receive and process payments from customers, suppliers, and internal departments (cash, cheque, mobile money) Issue official receipts and maintain proper documentation of all transactions Reconcile daily cash collections and prepare bank deposit summaries Assist in managing petty cash and preparing replenishment reports Support accounts team with invoice verification and payment tracking Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data and documents Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies Report any discrepancies or irregularities to the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager Requirements Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 1–2 years of experience in a cashier or finance support role, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
