About this role

Job Description

Key Account Manager, Vaccines and Infectious Disease – Stockholm and North

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Key Account Manager to join our Vaccine and Infectious Disease team. In this role, you will take ownership of a large and geographically important territory, turning clinical evidence and regional health data into concrete initiatives that improve vaccination uptake and support public health in Sweden.

About the Role

This is a field-based role for someone who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment and enjoys building long-term partnerships with customers and decision-makers. You will operate at the intersection of clinical practice and regional decision-making, building long-term partnerships across primary care, specialist clinics, and regional health authorities.

You are accountable for identifying systemic barriers to vaccination and driving collaborative projects to overcome them. You will have a high degree of autonomy to shape your territory's success. Since your district covers Stockholm to the far North, regular travel and overnight stays are a fundamental and non-negotiable part of this role. Your preferred home location is Stockholm, Uppsala, or Västmanland, and you will spend approximately 80% of your time in the field.

Key Responsibilities

·         Territory Leadership: Treat your district as your own business. Develop and execute tailored account plans based on regional healthcare structures, local policies, and medical needs.

·         High-Level Partnerships: Act as a trusted partner to regional healthcare decision-makers and clinical leaders, supporting projects that improve vaccination rates and patient outcomes.

·         Project Leadership: Lead regional implementation projects, coordinating internal support from Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Policy to meet local needs.

·         Market Insight to Strategy: Capture critical regional trends and customer insights to help shape our national strategies and business planning.

Your Profile

We are looking for a self-motivated professional with high business acumen and the personal maturity required to drive projects and influence stakeholders in a complex environment.

·         An academic degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or similar.

·         A minimum of 3 years of commercial, customer-facing experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

·         Solid understanding of the Swedish healthcare system and regional decision-making processes. Experience in vaccines or infectious diseases is a strong merit.

·         Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

·         Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder environments and delivering strong business results.

·         Proven willingness and ability to manage a large geographical territory (Stockholm & North), which requires frequent travel and regular overnight stays.

·         LIF certification is required, along with a valid driver’s license.

·         Fluent in both Swedish and English.

Why Work With Us?

You will join a highly collaborative team dedicated to a critical area of public health. We offer a high degree of autonomy, a mandate to drive real change in your territory, and an environment where experienced and driven colleagues support each other to succeed without micromanagement. If this sounds like the right next step for you, we would be happy to hear from you.
