Job Description:
- Inspect kitchen and laundry equipment daily to ensure proper operation.
- Attend to all breakdowns immediately to avoid operational disruption.
- Support kitchen and laundry teams during peak operation hours.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain PMP records and service logs for audit purposes.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on kitchen and laundry machinery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and external technicians when required.
- Ensure safe isolation and testing before and after repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Use appropriate PPE during maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure all equipment meets health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Request spare parts through proper channels.
- Maintain accountability for tools and spares.
- Report major defects and requirements to the Engineering Supervisor to the Chief Engineer.
