Join Amazon Logistics in Brazil and lead the expansion of our hybrid last-mile delivery network across multiple operational nodes. You'll drive operational excellence, partner management, and continuous improvement while solving complex logistics challenges that directly impact our customers' delivery experience.
We're seeking a collaborative leader to manage our External Delivery Service Provider (EDSP) program, a strategic initiative that leverages regional partner networks to deliver packages with best-in-class service metrics. You'll have the opportunity to shape how we scale last-mile operations while optimizing costs and service quality across the country.
Key job responsibilities
- Oversee and develop a network of 40-50 EDSP operational nodes, ensuring consistent performance standards and supporting partner success across your region
- Build strong partnerships with field operations leaders and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational barriers, with focus on understanding root causes and implementing sustainable solutions
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing operational metrics, benchmarking against peer regions, and designing new mechanisms and processes that enhance efficiency and customer experience
- Lead strategic initiatives that support network expansion and consolidation, participating actively in planning cycles and translating strategy into operational execution
- Collaborate across organizations, including field operators, support teams, and technology partners to align efforts, remove obstacles, and accelerate problem resolution
A day in the life
As a Senior Regional Operations Manager for our EDSP program, your role blends operational, tactical, and strategic work. You'll spend your mornings conducting site visits and gemba walks with delivery partners, observing operations firsthand and identifying improvement opportunities. Mid-day, you might facilitate problem-solving sessions with field operations leaders and support teams to address network challenges and accelerate solutions. Your afternoons could involve analyzing operational metrics, designing new efficiency mechanisms, or collaborating with technology teams on process improvements.
You'll also participate in strategic planning cycles focused on network expansion and partner consolidation. Throughout the week, you'll travel approximately 30% of the time to maintain close partnerships with regional operators and stay connected to on-the-ground realities. This role requires you to work effectively across multiple teams, from field operators to support functions to product managers, ensuring alignment and driving continuous improvement across the network.
