We are looking for Lead Backend Engineers for our Bangalore office.
Tech Stack: Java or Python
About the Role:
• Hiring Lead Backend Engineers experienced in Java or Python.
• Strong in distributed systems, microservices, HLD/LLD, and production ownership.
• Must have product-company experience building scalable and reliable services.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end architecture and author HLD/LLD docs.
• Build scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot) or Python.
• Design systems for high throughput, low latency, and fault tolerance.
• Optimize performance using caching, sharding, load balancing, concurrency.
• Define SLOs/SLIs and drive observability using metrics, logs, tracing.
• Lead incident resolution, RCA, and preventive engineering.
• Mentor other engineers and lead engineering best practices
Required Skills
• Expertise in Java or Python.
• Strong DS/Algo and system design fundamentals.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, REST/gRPC
• Datastores: Postgres/MySQL, Redis, and one NoSQL store
• Messaging: Kafka/Pulsar/RabbitMQ.
• Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP; Docker & Kubernetes.
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry
Nice-to-Have
• Event-driven architecture, DDD, or CQRS.
• Terraform, service mesh (Istio), API Gateway patterns.
• Elasticsearch/OpenSearch experience
