Job Description

Job Overview

This is a leadership role with accountability and responsibility across clinical, technical, and commercial dimensions. The Application Specialist will serve as the feature leader for all RT features, driving application definition, capability development, and multi-team alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical expertise
    • Understand radiotherapy workflows and CT simulation technology.
    • Lead the definition of NPI requirements based on clinical practice.
  • Customer collaboration
    • Visit customers to jointly define product features and functions.
    • Support execution of R&D projects aligned with customer needs.
    • Assist customers in conducting scientific research projects using GE CT SIM solutions.
  • Product knowledge
    • Clearly articulate product advantages and limitations.
    • Manage third-party products, brands, and clinical applications required for CT SIM integration.
    • Understand cross-platform capabilities in radiotherapy care areas.
  • Clinical support
    • Support clinical use for installed systems.
    • Coach customers on effective use of CT SIM equipment.
    • Solve site-related issues by coordinating with multiple teams, including CSO.
  • Training & enablement
    • Train downstream application teams in different regions to maximize equipment usage.
    • Train commercial teams to communicate product strengths, translating engineering language into clinical and marketing language.
  • Feature leadership
    • Act as the feature leader for all RT features, ensuring application, development, and capability are aligned across teams.
    • Lead multi-team collaboration and alignment around RT feature development.
    • Collect and consolidate clinical benefit data for all R&D features, ensuring evidence-based product positioning.
    • Lead ME site data collection to support product validation and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional leadership
    • Act as the central application leader managing all related aspects of CT SIM.
    • Ensure smooth communication between customers, engineers, and commercial stakeholders.
    • Drive accountability and responsibility across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, Radiation Oncology, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of radiotherapy clinical workflows (simulation, contouring, planning, treatment).
  • Solid knowledge of CT technology and Radonc technology.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (application, product support, training, or clinical collaboration).
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and balance clinical, technical, and commercial perspectives.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience as an Application Specialist in radiotherapy or relevat roles.
  • Hands-on experience with CT simulators, TPS systems, or Radiation therapy workflows.
  • Familiarity with multi-platform radiotherapy integration and third-party product management.
  • Experience in clinical data collection and benefit analysis for product development.
