Lead Lifeguard II

Will provide oversight to the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program, facilities, and staff members in conjunction with the Aquatics Manager. Saturday shifts are required for full-time lead positions. Depending on the needs of the department, full-time lead may be required to work some split shifts and holidays. Will step in as a swim instructor and be in the rotation of guarding when needed to meet operating standards. Maintain clear channels of communication with staff, volunteers and program participants. This may include writing of internal memos, weekly department meetings, work schedules, flyers, newsletters, and one-on-one discussions with Aquatics Manager. Update and add programs into CCMS/RMS.
