Raytheon is seeking a Lead Multi-Discipline Engineer with demonstrated experience supporting the successful implementation, operation, and sustainment of complex engineered systems. This technical leadership position will be responsible for leading system integration activities, including system upgrades, software patches, and the implementation of new requirements, while ensuring continued compliance with agency security accreditation and applicable cybersecurity standards. The Lead Multi-Discipline Engineer will work closely with the Program Chief Engineer and Chief Architect to develop and implement new system capabilities using an integrated, systems-level approach. The role requires strong technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to balance evolving mission requirements with system performance, security, and sustainment objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and facilitate integration efforts to include upgrading and managing virtual computer systems.
  • Generate and evaluate alternative solution concepts and architectures.
  • Produce ICRs, configuration documentation, customer presentations.
  • Manage VMWare ESXi virtualized platform running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 operating system.
  • Manage NetApp (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN).
  • Produce and brief technical solution presentations for customer briefings.
  • Maintain compliance of Enterprise tools including HBSS, Carbon Black, ArcSight, and ACAS.
  • Collaborate with ISSE to ensure system accreditation is sustained.
  • Provide on-call support as required to address network outages, incidents, and operational needs.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Advanced experience in MS Office products Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Advanced data processing troubleshooting skills and experience.
  • Experience producing detailed technical documentation.
  • Current security certification (i.e Security+, CISSP) or equivalent.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Capable of working on a team under pressure to meet strict schedule requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with NGA programs and customers.
  • Knowledge of Full Motion Video (FMV) and Motion Target Indicator (MTI).

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
