LEAD PROJECT MANAGER - ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS

Plans, monitors and manages projects from initiation through to completion. Utilizes resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure it meets the business requirements, internal or external stakeholders are satisfied and it meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs and timeframes.

Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Project Manager with expertise in Agile methodologies and having exposure to managing projects/initiatives related to ERP Finance and/or EPM systems (including integrations with other applications), to join the Bangalore technology center in India.Currently Workday Finance product suite is the core ERP system and Anaplan, & OneStream are the Enterprise Performance Management system and related.If Innovation and effectiveness drive you forward this is the place for you!

With this position we offer

Join the development organization for Nasdaq’s Enterprise Solutions team (Finance Tech). The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to build state of the art corporate software for all of Nasdaq’s employees. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for delivery of enhancements and supporting rearchitected enterprise products to new software paradigms.

Your role and responsibilities:

As a Lead Project Manager your focus will be towards driving the development and implementation of software solutions, managing BAU operations and post-production support. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.  You will lead cross-functional work across the globe, delivering critical solutions and services to Nasdaq’s finance processes and operations. You will be responsible for crucial project management activities (including as a scrum master) and internal customer interaction, building strong relations and trust with key business and technology collaborators.

Furthermore, you will: 

  • Build and coach new Scrum teams and team members within the Nasdaq Corporate Finance Systems team.
  • Establish and enforce standards and best practices in development pipeline management, including stand-up meetings, retrospectives, backlog refinement, agile ways of working, and management-level status updates.
  • Participate in design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and guide problems and issues to resolution.
  • Develop project budget and timeline estimates and manage them to completion.

We expect you to have

  • At least 10-12 years of Agile Scrum Master & project management experience and deep expertise in JIRA.
  • Knowledge of finance organization processes, including Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL accounting, Consolidations, and Planning & Forecasting.
  • Expertise overseeing and managing ERP Finance (such as Workday Financial module implementations and integrations) and/or EPM systems (such as Anaplan, OneStream) and related integrations.
  • Experience working in multinational, multi-geographic companies and organizations.
  • Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science or other engineering fields or equivalent degrees in Finance.

It would be great if you have

  • Experience building up Agile Scrum teams from the ground up.
  • Agile Scrum Master certification.
  • Managing ERP Finance (preferably Workday’s Finance modules) projects and/or
  • EPM/FP&A applications (such as Anaplan, OneStream) projects
  • Proficiency in executive-level presentation skills.
