Position: Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce Revenue Cloud
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Revenue Cloud professional with hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ and Billing to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical and functional expertise in Salesforce platform customization and revenue lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions including CPQ and Billing
- Configure product catalogs, pricing rules, discounting, and quoting workflows
- Develop and customize CPQ components such as:
- Product Rules
- Price Rules
- Quote Templates
- Approval Processes
- Implement and manage billing processes, including invoicing, subscriptions, and revenue recognition
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (ERP, payment gateways, finance systems)
- Perform data migration, validation, and system testing (UAT)
- Ensure best practices in governance, security, and performance optimization
- Provide production support and continuous improvements
Required Skills
- Must have 7+ years of relevant IT experience and 2+ years in Salesforce Revenue Cloud / CPQ
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick)
- Salesforce Billing / Revenue Cloud
- Good understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) lifecycle
- Proficiency in:
- Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (LWC/Aura)
- SOQL/SOSL
- Experience with:
- Product bundling & configuration
- Pricing strategies (tiered, block, discount schedules)
- Subscription and contract lifecycle management
- Knowledge of integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
