We have a fantastic opportunity for a Desktop Liability Adjuster to work anywhere in the UK.
This is a technical, customer-facing role focused on investigating and handling property damage claims of differing values, working both independently and under referral. You will manage a caseload of Third-Party Property Damage (TPPD) claims on behalf of utility company clients, carrying out detailed investigations, assessing liability, reviewing evidence, and driving claims through to conclusion. Soft skills and proactivity are important as well as attention to detail and good organisational skills.
With experience in claims, you will identify suspicious information, follow procedures to prevent fraud, and evaluate evidence. The client is very customer-focused. You will answer correspondence, handle calls, update clients, and maintain diary processes promptly and proactively.
We're looking for someone with proven experience handling Third Party Property Damage (TPPD) claims, ideally within utilities, property damage, liability, or a related claims environment.

The skills & experience you will have when you apply:
Proven experience handling Third Party Property Damage (TPPD) claims is essential.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end claims handling process, including investigation, liability assessment and settlement.
Ability to investigate claims thoroughly and evaluate evidence to reach sound decisions.
Experience reviewing reports, documentation, and supporting evidence.
Ability to identify potential fraud indicators and follow appropriate escalation processes.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving.
