WHAT YOU’LL DO
Braze is hiring a Senior Marketing Senior Specialist Customer Lifecycle to join our São Paulo office. You will be responsible for building and executing lifecycle marketing programs that drive adoption, retention, and expansion amongst our customer base. You will work closely with the Director of Lifecycle Marketing to develop and execute multi-channel customer lifecycle programs, including always-on engagement, product adoption, upsell, and event audience development programs that deepen customer relationships and support Braze's growth goals.
The ideal candidate is a strategic marketer who brings deep Braze platform expertise, strong cross-functional instincts, and a data-driven approach to lifecycle program development. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are energized by building programs that directly impact customer retention and revenue expansion, and have a clear point of view on how AI — including BrazeAI™ tools and AI-assisted workflows — can accelerate execution, sharpen personalization, and elevate lifecycle marketing at scale. This role reports to the Director, Lifecycle Marketing.
In this role, you will:
- Own the end-to-end strategy and execution for customer lifecycle marketing campaigns, including always-on journeys, product adoption programs, upsell campaigns, and event audience development
- Build and optimize customer lifecycle campaigns, Canvases, and segments in the Braze platform, including complex audience logic, multi-step journey orchestration, A/B experimentation, and AI personalization
- Manage the customer campaign calendar — Tracking deadlines, and ensuring programs launch on time, on brief, and against clear success metrics
- Translate high-level lifecycle strategy from the Director into executable, multi-channel programs with defined goals, audiences, and measurement frameworks
- Actively explore and implement AI-powered workflows — including BrazeAI Operator™ and Agent Console™— to drive personalization at scale, increase campaign efficiency, and reduce manual build complexity
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Customer Success, Account Management, Product Marketing, Content, Product Analytics, Growth Engineering, and Global Campaigns to ensure lifecycle programs are coordinated with go-to-market motions and CSM activity
- Document Braze@Braze AI testing efforts, use cases, and learnings for internal enablement and external storytelling
- Understand the impact of your programs on retention, expansion, and upsell pipeline; set and achieve goals that align with driving customer growth for the overall business
WHO YOU ARE
- 6+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or customer marketing, with a strong focus on B2B SaaS
- Hands-on Braze platform experience required — you must be comfortable independently building and launching complex campaigns and Canvases in Braze, including Liquid logic and multi-step journey design
- Demonstrated ability to own a program area end-to-end — from strategic planning through execution, measurement, and iteration
- You have a strong point of view on where AI can genuinely improve lifecycle marketing — from personalization and segmentation to content generation, testing velocity, and campaign efficiency — and you actively seek ways to put that into practice
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect engagement metrics and funnel data to actionable insights and business recommendations
- Experience working cross-functionally across CS, PMM, Growth, and campaign teams to coordinate go-to-market programs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; comfortable presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM for audience management and pipeline reporting is a plus
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across distributed, global teams
