About Frothy Monkey

At Frothy Monkey, we serve more than just coffee. Our all-day menu includes breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and a kids menu, accompanied by an enticing selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails. Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proficiency in basic cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of local food handling and safety guidelines/standards. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and or holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and kitchen staff.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
 

Job responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in using knives to prepare ingredients with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, including regularly scheduled cleaning and occasional deep cleaning.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as cooking various dishes and managing different orders at once.
  • Prepare stations before service and restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow established recipes to prepare dish components accurately and consistently.
  • Maintain consistency in food preparation by following approved recipes, portion sizes, and kitchen procedures.
  • Assist in portioning and prepping ingredients for upcoming shifts to facilitate efficient workflow.
  • Monitor product freshness and follow proper rotation procedures to maintain quality and minimize waste.
  • Support kitchen operations by performing additional duties as required.
