Logistics Incharge - Glass

The role holder will manage all Logistics activities for the organization, including logistics planning, supplier negotiation, documentation. Ensures communication is effectively done to production, purchase team and stores to promote a healthy supply chain of the company. Overseeing and managing logistics operations. Ensure timely execution of organizing and managing transportation and fleet. Keep track of cost, productivity, data accuracy and time line for department deliverables. Analysing and optimising logistical procedures. Negotiate the price and contract with the supplier for the best rate for material. Build and maintain relationships with vendors. Select prospective vendors and negotiate a contract. Evaluate vendors based on quality, time line, price, and process. Schedule deliveries and ensure timely pickup. Monitoring shipments, costs, time line, and productivity. Ensuring department KPI's are met. Prepare accurate reports for upper management Requirements At least 4-5 years of experience form manufacturing and construction industry. Bachelor's degree with supply chain management or logistics or business management Preferred Experience using procurement software and data bases. Excellent negotiation skills. Effective communication skills.
