Logistics Specialist

About this role

1. Document and System Management
• Create, organize, and archive shipping documents, transportation records, customs clearance files, and other logistics documentation, ensuring accurate entry into ERP, WMS, and other systems for full traceability.
• Maintain logistics data in real time, synchronizing information on goods received, dispatched, and in transit status.
2. Transportation and Distribution Coordination
• Coordinate with carriers (sea, air, and land freight) to arrange goods receipt and delivery, manage daily transportation tasks, track shipment status, and promptly address anomalies such as delays or damage.
• Support carrier selection and cost optimization through rate comparisons and service evaluations.
3. Communication and Cross Functional Coordination
• Liaise with internal teams including procurement, sales, and warehouse, as well as external customers, carriers, and freight forwarders, to facilitate order processing, handover, and issue resolution.
4. Reporting and Cost Support
• Compile logistics-related data and generate reports on transportation, inventory, and costs, assisting in logistics performance analysis.
• Participate in invoice verification, cost accrual, and settlement processes to support cost control efforts.
5. Ad Hoc and Special Tasks
Complete special assignments as directed by supervisors, such as coordinating cross-region shipments or return logistics, and support process improvements and equipment management initiatives

Requirements

Education & Major:
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related fields.

Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (basic Excel functions required). Experience with ERP, TMS, or other logistics systems is a plus.

Detail-oriented with strong numerical sensitivity, excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

English and German proficiency at a working level is required; Chinese or other foreign languages are an advantage.

Additional Requirements:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willingness to work overtime when necessary. Prior internship or work experience in logistics or warehousing is preferred.
