Machine Operator
Pay: $18/hour
Shift: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating industrial machinery, working in a manufacturing environment, and identifying and resolving basic machine issues.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Set up, adjust, and make minor machine changes as needed.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and production standards are met.
- Troubleshoot basic machine problems and perform minor adjustments.
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical or production issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of machine operation, controls, settings, and basic equipment functions.
- Experience with machine setup, changeovers, measurements, and quality checks is an asset.
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment and following safety procedures.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new machinery quickly.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
