Machinist
Allow machining students to gain manufacturing experience while they are completing their two year Machine Tool Technology degree. Interns will complete special project work support, learn to work on advanced equipment and have the opportunity to run a variety of machines providing Graco machines unload.
What You Will Do at Graco
Operate assigned machines within department.
Learn simple setups and troubleshooting while supervised by skilled Graco full-time machinists.
Check parts with hard gauging and CMM.
Perform periodic quality checks as described in operation layouts.
Package, wash, and deburr as described in operation layouts or otherwise directed by full-time Graco Machinist, Engineer, or Supervisor.
Keep a clean and organized work area.
Responsible for the quality of the parts they produce and follow all necessary inspection requirements.
Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support co-workers to operate to department expectations.
Focus on safety and follow all safety rules and requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring to Graco
Students must be enrolled in a two year Machine Tool Technology program
Shift is flexible & can be changed to accommodate current courses/schedule.
Student must be in good standing with the school if enrolled, maintaining a C average or better.
Ability to read blueprints.
Comply with all safety rules and requirements.

Mechanic
Allow machine mechanic students to gain manufacturing experience and learn how to perform repairs on CNC Machine Equipment while they are enrolled in a two year Maintenance-related program.
What You Will Do at Graco
Work on current work orders (CNC Machines, test benches, assembly fixtures, automation equipment).
Train alongside current maintenance employees to develop experience.
Search for parts/tech bulletins/purchase parts.
Help organize and clean maintenance storage areas.
Follow all required safety guidelines and utilize the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring to Graco
Students must be enrolled in a two-year mechanic/maintenance-related degree (electrical, electronics, hydraulics, fluid power, or robotics, etc.)
Shift is flexible & can be changed to accommodate current courses/schedule.
Student must be in good standing with school if enrolled and maintaining a C average or better.
Ability to read blue prints
Comply with all safety rules and requirements

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
