Position : Magento Developer Location : Kolkata / Remote Experience : 8+ Year Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Magento 2 Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Magento 2/Adobe Commerce and PHP. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Magento architecture, custom module development, APIs, integrations, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 modules and extensions. Develop scalable backend solutions using PHP 8.x and Magento coding standards. Work with Dependency Injection, Plugins, Observers, Events, Service Contracts, Repositories, Factories, and Extension Attributes. Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, including custom queries, mutations, and resolvers. Optimize MySQL/MariaDB, Magento indexing, caching, Varnish, Redis, and overall application performance. Perform Magento upgrades, security patches, and Composer dependency management. Integrate third-party systems such as payment gateways, shipping, ERP, CRM, and marketplaces. Work with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentor junior developers. Required Skills 8+ years of hands-on Magento 2 development experience Strong PHP 8.x expertise Strong knowledge of Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce architecture Experience in custom module and extension development Strong knowledge of GraphQL & REST APIs Good experience with MySQL/MariaDB and SQL optimization Experience with Redis, Varnish, FPC, and Magento Indexers Strong knowledge of Composer, Git, and Docker Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns Experience with Magento upgrades and security patches Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Certification Adobe Commerce Developer Certification (current and verifiable) is mandatory.
