About the Team

The Renewal Account Management team powers Rapid7’s recurring revenue growth (ARR) by securing customer retention and driving commercial execution across our global customer base. About the Role

As a Manager, Renewal Accounts, your primary responsibility will be to lead, coach, and scale a team of Renewal Account Managers while holding commercial accountability for retention performance and forecast accuracy. Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Associate RAMs, RAMs, Sr. RAMs, and Team Leads to build confident commercial owners.

  • Establish clear expectations for role execution, deal ownership, inspection cadences, and renewal accountability.

  • Own overall renewal performance and forecast accuracy across the assigned book of business.

  • Guide teams through complex negotiations, at-risk renewals, deal hygiene standards, and customer escalations.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Channel, Finance, and Legal to ensure unified renewal execution.

  • Maintain operational excellence and accurate reporting using Salesforce, Clari, and internal forecasting tools.

  • Monitor renewal health signals, identify systemic risks, and implement strategy, pricing, and policy governance.

  • Reinforce renewal playbooks, framework execution, and continuous enablement in partnership with leadership.

The skills and qualities you'll bring include

  • Bring 4+ years of SaaS renewals, account management, or commercial ownership experience.

  • Demonstrate 2+ years of direct people leadership experience managing commercial or customer-facing teams.

  • Hold yourself and others responsible for driving retention outcomes, forecast accuracy, and clear deal ownership standards.

  • Build a global network and work across boundaries with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to create alignment.

  • Think big and act small by breaking renewal targets into actionable milestones, cadence discipline, and operating rhythms.

  • Embrace difficult conversations, actively listen, and check for understanding during complex commercial negotiations and risk escalations.

  • Display advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Clari, and modern revenue forecasting platforms.

  • Exhibit a strong analytical mindset, commercial rigor, and a track record of driving predictable retention results at scale.

  • Bring background experience within the cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS industry.

  • Embody Rapid7's core values to foster a culture of excellence that drives meaningful impact and collective success.
