What you'll do
You support the development and execution of the EMEA sustainability strategy at the intersection of sustainability, product management, business functions, and technological transformation
Using structured methodologies, you derive strategic priorities and turn them into actionable measures for cross-regional implementation, while independently driving defined cross-functional workstreams from concept through to execution
At the same time, you translate complex external requirements, including regulatory developments such as PPWR, EmpCo, and DPP, into clear business implications and actionable initiatives, while continuously assessing market and regulatory trends for risks and opportunities
You contribute to portfolio-level analyses across products, markets, and time horizons, and develop decision frameworks that help management prioritise investments by connecting technical transformation needs with commercial impact
As a key interface to Product Management, you ensure alignment between sustainability requirements and product development, positioning, and roadmap decisions across diverse markets, while supporting consistent cross-regional interpretation and positioning of sustainability topics throughout EMEA
Who you are
Several years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development or a similar commercial role have provided you with strong exposure to sustainability topics and the ability to translate them into business implications, while experience in the building materials or construction industry is a strong advantage
You bring a strong analytical and commercial mindset and are comfortable working with business cases, scenarios, and financial impacts, while structuring complex topics into clear recommendations and actionable plans
In addition, you have a sound understanding of business and product environments and enjoy working cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders
You demonstrate a high degree of ownership, are experienced in managing projects and programmes across complex matrix organisations and can drive topics independently in a dynamic environment
A hands-on mentality and the ability to see initiatives through from concept to final delivery in a complex industrial manufacturing context complement your profile, alongside fluency in English and additional language skills as a plus
