Job Description:
Upstream
1. Overall, in charge of Indonesia Marketing & Trading
activities
2. Sales of Indonesia upstream production (CPO and PK)
to local and export markets
3. Optimizing shipping and logistic operations for better
efficiency for all mills in Indonesia
4. Price decision making & problem solving
5. Customer relationship management for better marketing
operations
Downstream
A. Sourcing of raw material
1. Sourcing of raw material to feed refinery and two
crushing plants in Indonesia with best price in order
to give better margin to its products and profitability to
its plant
2. Handling commodity risk of refinery & KCPs through
hedging of purchase and sale of products to ensure
margin secured and minimizing loss
3. Handling relationship with all suppliers of refinery &
KCP
B. Handling commodity risk of refinery and KCP
1. To hedge of purchase/sale of products to secure
margin and or minimizing loss for refinery and KCP
C. Develop new products and markets with higher margin
1. Develop market for sustainable oil
2. To maintain good working relationship with various
suppliers, buyers and all stake holders
3. To open new market/products to ensure higher
margin
D. To oversee logistics & shipping section for shipment
activities and better operational activities
E. Gather market information, pricing structures and
competitive studies of markets with networking and
keeping close relationship with all vegetable industry
players, suppliers, brokers & shipping agents
1. Networking and keeping good relationship with all
vegetable oil industries, enabling capturing of best
price for sourcing and sales
F. Overall, in charge of activities two-palm kernel crushing
plants for all activities related to sales and purchases of
CPKO, PKE and PK
G. Trading
1. Responsible to open new palm oil business division -
sourcing and trading - in Indonesia
2. Introduce and build a good relationship with
suppliers, customers, traders, and government
institutions about Sourcing and Trading Division
