The Manager – Vehicle Solutions & Transformation is responsible for defining and executing Element Mexico's strategy for vehicle customization and value-added fleet solutions. This role leads the end-to-end management of complex vehicle implementation projects requiring specialized accessories, multiple suppliers, and customized logistics, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and scalable execution.

Leading a dedicated team of Project Coordinators and Supplier Specialists, the Manager will establish and evolve Element's Vehicle Solutions & Transformation Center of Excellence, providing consultative solutions that differentiate Element in the marketplace while enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.

Beyond customer project delivery, this role serves as a strategic transformation leader within the New Vehicle Acquisition organization, driving process standardization, project governance, digital innovation, and AI adoption to improve procurement efficiency, scalability, and visibility in support of Element's Acceleration 2029 strategy.

1. Strategy & Product Leadership

  • Define and execute the Vehicle Solutions & Transformation strategy in Mexico, aligned with acquisitions & business goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and standardize a portfolio of vehicle customization solutions and value-added services.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and scalability of customization services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand supplier capabilities, engineering solutions, and customer offerings.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Strategic Alliances, Operations, Product, and OEM partners to strengthen Element's value proposition and competitive differentiation.

2. Project Management & Service Delivery

  • Lead the execution of complex vehicle customization projects involving multiple suppliers, accessory installations, and specialized logistics.
  • Develop implementation plans, project timelines, governance models, and risk mitigation strategies for customer programs.
  • Coordinate vehicle flow across OEMs, dealerships, upfitters, logistics providers, and inspection facilities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
  • Establish and monitor project KPIs, operational performance, and execution discipline.
  • Drive efficiency, resource optimization, and operational excellence across all customization activities.

3. Client Solutions & Service Excellence

  • Design and implement customized fleet solutions for clients with specialized operational requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into integrated vehicle implementation strategies.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex customization projects.
  • Provide proactive communication, executive project updates, and implementation visibility throughout the customer journey.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture focused on transparency, responsiveness, and execution excellence.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve customer experience through innovation and consultative services.

4. Operational Strategy & Transformation

  • Develop standardized project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices for complex implementation programs.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve end-to-end planning, execution, supplier coordination, and operational visibility.
  • Establish operational metrics, governance routines, and performance dashboards to monitor capacity utilization and process effectiveness.

5. Leadership & Organization Development

  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing Vehicle Solutions & Customization team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop project management capabilities, technical expertise, and supplier management competencies across the team.
  • Create scalable organizational processes that support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Coach team members while promoting innovation, ownership, and execution discipline.

6. Digital Transformation & AI Adoption

  • Drive the adoption of digital tools, automation, and AI solutions to improve project execution, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to implement scalable digital solutions for project management and customer visibility.
  • Lead change management initiatives that ensure successful adoption of new technologies across Procurement.
  • Develop digital dashboards that provide real-time project status, supplier performance, and operational KPIs.
  • Leverage data analytics and predictive insights to improve planning accuracy, supplier performance, and customer experience.

7. Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration

  • Work closely with Strategic Alliances & Product to develop a high-performing network of customization suppliers, installers, and upfitters.
  • Ensure supplier quality, competitive pricing, capacity planning, and service performance across the customization ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Fleet Managers, Customer Service, Finance, Logistics, Product, and Operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Partner with OEMs, dealers, and strategic suppliers to identify new capabilities, engineering solutions, and process improvements.
  • Represent Vehicle Solutions & Transformation in cross-functional initiatives supporting business growth and operational transformation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, automotive operations, fleet management, logistics, or vehicle upfitting.
  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Strong background in operational strategy, process optimization, and project governance.
  • Experience managing customer-facing operations and supplier networks.
  • Experience driving digital transformation, automation, and/or AI initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or Project Management certification is a plus.
  • English fluency required.
