About this role

Job Description Summary

Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.  

  • Support new product, tool, and equipment implementation from design through production. 

  • Drive process improvements to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. 

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. 

  • Work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to meet business goals. 

  • Use technical knowledge and data to solve production and process problems. 

  • Lead or support projects that improve productivity and efficiency. 

  • Follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment on day-to-day decisions. 

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and operators. 

  • Maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, quality records, FMEAs, and electronic manufacturing systems.  

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience)) 

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • ​Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

Desired Characteristics 

  • Project management experience. 

  • Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. 

  • Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
