Manufacturing Manager

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for providing direction to teams in their manufacturing area and shift responsibility. In addition to planning the methods and resources to provide for future manufacturing needs, the Manufacturing Manager is also accountable for manufacturing output and efficiency, resolving manufacturing issues and problems as they arise in a collaborative effort with the Manufacturing Operations Director and all relevant support employees. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible, along with the Manufacturing Operations Director, for leading and motivating their manufacturing area as well as developing capability of Manufacturing Supervisors, Manufacturing Team Leaders and Production Operators.
 

制造经理负责为其所辖制造区域及班次运营提供日常指导和管理。在规划未来制造需求所需的方法、资源及能力的同时，制造经理还对日常制造产出及效率负责，并与制造运营总监及相关支持职能人员密切协作，及时解决生产过程中出现的各类问题。制造经理还需与制造运营总监共同负责其所辖生产制造区域的团队领导与激励，并推动、制造主管、生产领班以及生产操作员的能力发展和人才培养。

Accountabilities  主要职责

Accountability 1: Management day to day issues in manufacturing area to achieve daily and weekly manufacturing targets
职责 1：负责制造区域内的日常运营管理，确保达成每日及每周制造目标。

• Point of escalation for all manufacturing issues in area of responsibility
  负责其职责范围内所有制造问题的升级管理与协调解决。
• Collaboration with Maintenance and Calibration to resolve breakdowns impacting on manufacturing
  与维修与校准部门合作，解决影响生产的故障问题
• Line balancing/TAKT

开展生产线平衡及TAKT节拍管理。

• Running Status at a Glance (Tier 3) meetings.

召开三级运行状态概览会议

• Liaison with other teams (Warehouse, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing Support Engineering, Quality, Process Engineering) to resolve problems impacting manufacturing.
  与仓储、采购、研发、制造支持、质量及工艺工程等团队保持联络与协作，解决影响生产运营的问题。
• Work in a collaborative manner with the Manufacturing Operations Director to inform them off all issues impacting on manufacturing.
  与制造运营总监保持积极沟通与协作，及时反馈影响生产运营的问题，并支持相关问题的协调与解决。
• Ensure manufacturing activities are conducted in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures, work instructions, quality requirements and applicable regulatory standards.

确保生产制造活动符合经批准的生产程序、作业指导书、质量要求及适用的法规要求。

• Ensure manufacturing documentation and production records are accurate, complete, timely, traceable and maintained in compliance with applicable quality system and regulatory requirements.

确保生产相关文件和记录准确、完整、及时且具有可追溯性，并按照质量管理体系及适用法规要求进行控制和保存。

• Be accountable for other manufacturing-related activities as required to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance and business continuity.

承担其他与生产制造相关的工作职责，以确保产品质量、法规合规性及业务连续性。

Accountability 2: Implementation and management improvement initiatives
职责 2持续改进项目的实施与管理

• Engagement of Industrial Engineering team to implement lean initiatives
  推动工业工程团队实施精益生产改善项目，持续提升运营效率。
• Engagement of manufacturing employees and team leaders to run Kaizen events
  让生产员工和生产组长参与到 Kaizen 活动中来 组织制造团队开展 Kaizen 持续改善活动，促进员工参与问题解决和流程优化。
• Management of continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing area
  负责生产制造区域持续改进项目的规划、实施及跟踪管理。Ensure effective use of common and standardized management process such as rotation plans, shift startup/shutdown, shift handover, 5S standards, pillar charts, pin mapping, flexibility matrix, etc.
  确保轮岗计划、班次启动/结束流程、班次交接、5S标准、绩效看板、问题映射、技能灵活性矩阵等标准化管理流程得到有效执行和应用。
• Work in collaboration with the Manufacturing Operations Director for any structural changes to the working environment
  与制造运营总监协作，支持制造区域工作环境及布局优化等相关调整。

Accountability 3: Development and engagement of employees

职责 3：员工发展和参与

• Ensure employees are appropriately trained and competent to perform their assigned responsibilities, and that required training records are maintained in accordance with quality system and regulatory requirements.
  确保员工经过适当培训并具备胜任其岗位职责所需的能力，确保培训记录准确、完整，并按照质量管理体系及适用法规要求进行保存和管理。
• Provide support and leadership guidance to Manufacturing Supervisors, Team Leaders and Production Operators.
  制造主管、生产领班和生产操作员提供日常支持以及领导指导
• Ensure training metrics are developed and maintained, including appropriate development targets for each individual in the team.
  建立并维护培训与能力发展指标，确保团队成员拥有清晰且适当的发展目标。
• Responsible for the development of employees in the direct reporting line.

负责直接下属员工的发展、培养及能力建设。

• Work with the  Manufacturing Training group to ensure key skills and competencies are being developed to ensure the plan is met
  与生产制造培训团队合作，持续提升团队关键技能和核心能力，支持业务计��和组织目标的实现。
• Champion the Cochlear behavioural competencies when working with employees
  在团队管理和员工发展过程中，积极践行并倡导科利耳行为准则和价值观。
• Ensure relevant time is allocated
  确保为相关培训和发展活动分配适当时间。

Accountability 4: Implement management standards to ensure work practices are productive and efficient
职责 4：执行管理标准，确保工作实践高效且富有成效

• Monitor overtime allocation and ensure the process adheres to the overtime allocation process for manufacturing staff, including team leaders.
  监督加班安排，确保制造员工（包括生产领班）的加班管理符合公司加班管理流程和相关要求。
• Monitor trends in leave and punctuality patterns and ensure daily follow up actions take place directly with employees.
  关注员工休假及出勤情况，及时开展沟通与跟进，支持团队稳定运营。
• Ensure performance issues are managed promptly and necessary actions are implemented
  及时识别和处理绩效问题，并落实相应的改进措施。
• Participate in the selection process for Production Operators, Team Leaders and Supervisors.
  参与生产操作员、生产领班及制造主管员等岗位的人才选拔工作。

Team Role

Key Incumbent Requirements  任职要求:

Minimum最低要求:

·       Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
具备良好的英语及普通话听说读写能力，能够进行有效的书面及口头沟通。

·       Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Technical or Manufacturing Management or trade qualifications with demonstrated manufacturing management experience
具有工程、技术或制造管理专业大专学历，或具有相关职业资格以及制造管理工作经验并得到证明

·       Strong understanding of engineering design and/or manufacturing principles.
具备扎实的工程设计和/或制造原理知识。

·  ��    Broad knowledge across people, financial and operational management
具备人员管理、财务管理及运营管理等方面的综合知识和业务理解。

·       A minimum of 5-8 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years of experience managing teams.

具备5-8年制造业相关工作经验，并拥有至少3年的团队管理经验。
