Job Description

As an Analyst, Market Intelligence, you will play a critical role in Rockwell's Lifecycle Services Global Capability and Innovations team, serving as a key contributor and partner to enable data-driven decision making across the Lifecycle Services organization. While primarily supporting the Capabilities and Innovations team through Market Understanding, Competitive Intelligence, Customer Understanding and Product Intelligence, the role will have the opportunity to turn valuable insights into actions through programmatic approaches that bridge the gaps of external markets and the organization and solve complex problems.

You will work in a hybrid setting from our Rockwell Automation office location and report to the Manager, Market Intelligence.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on industry and product performance, customer behaviors, and market trends. Be a trusted Lifecycle Services data and research expert.
  • Use market knowledge and insights to craft comprehensive plans that align with business goals.
  • Provide strategic support to product management, marketing, and sales to identify market gaps and guide go-to-market activities that align to the unique regional and global business needs.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities like product launches, ecosystem developments and translate them into competitor profiles.
  • Design programs or processes that allow cross-functional and cross-departmental sharing of market data and insights.
  • Use AI-based tools to accelerate the creation and optimization of research while
  • Stay current with professional and managed services trends while sharing insights across LCS.
  • Support voice of customer, partner, and employee efforts maintaining data integrity and consistency.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, data analysis, data sciences, engineering, or related area.
  • Experience in a wide variety of quantitative and qualitive research methodologies, using standard databases and analytical tools.
  • Requires proven ability to establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with commercial and operations teams.
  • Experience managing projects across business function teams.
  • Willing to collaborate with colleagues globally where time zones, languages, and cultural differences exist.
  • Business development, program and strategy management experience
  • Experience working with sales enablement.
