Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and commercially oriented Marketing Manager with 15+ years of international experience in building and scaling marketing organizations, integrated go-to-market programs, and demand-generation engines within the technology sector.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience across AI Infrastructure, Enterprise Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Protection, Cybersecurity, Storage, Cloud, Middleware, IoT, SaaS, APIs, HPC, and Enterprise Software, with a strong understanding of complex B2B and enterprise technology markets.
The candidate should have successfully built and led marketing programs and teams within both growth-stage and billion-dollar technology organizations, developing scalable operating models, integrated GTM strategies, and high-performing global teams.
The role encompasses Marketing Leadership, Business Development, Relationship Management, Sales, Corporate Strategy, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, Field Marketing, Content Strategy, Digital, Web, and Marketing Operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Board, CEO, C-suite, sales, product, technology, business development, channel, alliance, and partner teams to identify growth opportunities, shape market strategy, build scalable programs, and deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Corporate Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with corporate objectives, product strategy, and revenue goals.
- Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to translate corporate priorities into clear marketing and GTM initiatives.
- Develop annual and multi-year marketing plans, budgets, priorities, and performance frameworks.
- Assess market dynamics, customer needs, competitive positioning, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Identify new markets, customer segments, industries, channels, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Establish scalable marketing operating models, processes, governance, and measurement frameworks.
- Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
2. Integrated Go-to-Market Strategy
- Build and execute integrated GTM strategies across product marketing, demand generation, digital, content, field marketing, partner marketing, ABM, events, communications, and sales enablement.
- Develop GTM plans for new products, solutions, markets, customer segments, and strategic business initiatives.
- Define differentiated positioning, messaging, value propositions, and competitive strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across marketing, sales, product, business development, channel, alliances, and executive teams.
- Continuously evaluate GTM effectiveness and optimize programs based on market feedback and commercial performance.
3. Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth
- Own the demand-generation strategy and marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue.
- Develop scalable multi-channel programs across inbound, outbound, digital, content, events, partners, field marketing, and strategic accounts.
- Lead campaign strategy, development, execution, optimization, and reporting.
- Establish effective lead-generation, scoring, nurturing, routing, and sales-handoff processes.
- Partner closely with sales to improve lead quality, pipeline velocity, conversion, and revenue outcomes.
- Track MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, conversion rates, CAC, ROI, and revenue impact.
- Build a data-driven marketing culture focused on measurable business outcomes.
4. Product Marketing
- Develop product positioning, messaging, value propositions, market segmentation, and competitive differentiation.
- Lead product go-to-market strategies from market definition and positioning through launch and adoption.
- Translate complex technology capabilities into clear and compelling business outcomes for enterprise customers.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to incorporate customer and market insights into product strategy.
- Develop sales enablement materials, solution briefs, presentations, case studies, competitive intelligence, and battlecards.
- Lead product launches and market adoption programs.
- Monitor competitive positioning, customer feedback, market trends, and product performance.
5. Account-Based Marketing & Enterprise Marketing
- Develop and lead strategic ABM programs for enterprise and high-value accounts.
- Define target-account segmentation, personas, buying committees, account intelligence, messaging, and engagement strategies.
- Build coordinated marketing and sales plays for strategic accounts.
- Develop personalized campaigns, executive engagement programs, and customer-specific initiatives.
- Track account engagement, opportunity progression, pipeline, and revenue impact.
- Support strategic enterprise sales opportunities through targeted marketing programs.
6. Business Development & Sales Alignment
- Partner with sales and business development leadership to identify and develop new commercial opportunities.
- Develop strategies for new customer acquisition, strategic accounts, market expansion, and revenue diversification.
- Support complex enterprise sales engagements, proposals, executive briefings, and strategic customer discussions.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, up-selling, customer expansion, and retention.
- Align marketing programs with sales priorities and revenue targets.
- Establish strong collaboration between marketing, sales, business development, product, and executive leadership.
7. Channel, Partner & Alliance Marketing
- Develop strategic partner and alliance marketing strategies with technology, cloud, channel, and ecosystem partners.
- Build joint GTM programs designed to generate awareness, demand, pipeline, and revenue.
- Develop co-marketing campaigns, events, webinars, content, executive engagements, and market-development initiatives.
- Strengthen relationships with strategic technology and channel partners.
- Track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue.
- Align partner investments with broader business and GTM objectives.
8. Field Marketing & Events
- Develop field marketing strategies aligned with sales territories, industries, target accounts, and business priorities.
- Lead customer events, executive roundtables, conferences, webinars, workshops, partner events, and industry programs.
- Create high-value executive engagement opportunities with customers and prospects.
- Manage event planning, execution, agency relationships, budgets, and post-event measurement.
- Measure field and event marketing effectiveness through engagement, pipeline, opportunity creation, and revenue contribution.
9. Content, Brand & Thought Leadership
- Develop a differentiated content and thought-leadership strategy.
- Build market authority across AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection, enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, data management, and related technology markets.
- Oversee whitepapers, research reports, blogs, case studies, videos, webinars, presentations, executive content, and sales enablement materials.
- Establish strong corporate and product brand positioning.
- Develop customer reference, advocacy, case-study, and success-story programs.
- Work with technical experts and executives to translate complex concepts into compelling market narratives.
10. Corporate Communications, PR & Analyst Relations
- Develop and execute corporate communications and PR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build relationships with industry analysts, media, technology publications, influencers, and relevant industry organizations.
- Coordinate analyst briefings, media engagements, executive communications, thought-leadership initiatives, and industry participation.
- Develop corporate messaging and ensure consistency across internal and external communications.
- Leverage analyst and market insights to strengthen competitive positioning and market credibility.
11. Digital, Web & Marketing Technology
- Own the digital marketing strategy and overall website experience.
- Drive website strategy, messaging, content, SEO, conversion optimization, analytics, and digital demand generation.
- Develop digital programs supporting brand awareness, demand generation, ABM, and customer engagement.
- Manage and optimize CRM, marketing automation, ABM, analytics, attribution, and related marketing technologies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve marketing productivity, personalization, and effectiveness.
12. Marketing Operations & Analytics
- Build scalable marketing operations supporting campaign execution, lead management, CRM, automation, analytics, attribution, and reporting.
- Establish processes for lead capture, scoring, nurturing, routing, and sales handoff.
- Develop executive dashboards covering campaign performance, pipeline, conversion, ROI, and revenue contribution.
- Establish effective measurement and attribution frameworks.
- Use data and market intelligence to continuously optimize marketing performance and investment.
13. International & Regional Marketing
- Develop and execute marketing programs across US, EMEA, APAC, and other international markets.
- Adapt global strategies to regional market dynamics, customer requirements, and competitive environments.
- Develop localized marketing plans and demand-generation initiatives across relevant channels.
- Coordinate global and regional teams, agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
- Maintain consistent global brand positioning while ensuring local market relevance.
- Bring international market insights and best practices into corporate marketing strategy.
14. Team & Organizational Leadership
- Build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing marketing and business development teams.
- Experience building and managing centralized and local, in-house and outsourced teams.
- Establish scalable organizational structures, processes, roles, responsibilities, and performance frameworks.
- Build strong cross-functional collaboration across marketing, sales, product, business development, channel, and alliances.

15. Executive & Board-Level Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with and influence Board members, CEO, C-suite executives, VCs, sales leadership, product leadership, technology teams, and strategic stakeholders.
- Present market strategies, GTM plans, marketing performance, investment recommendations, competitive intelligence, and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
- Provide customer, market, and competitive insights to support executive decision-making.
- Build trusted relationships with senior customers, partners, investors, analysts, and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the organization professionally in strategic customer and industry engagements.
16. Budget & Agency Management
- Develop, manage, and optimize significant annual marketing budgets.
- Experience managing marketing budgets in excess of US$3.5 million is highly desirable.
- Allocate marketing investments based on strategic priorities, expected impact, and measurable ROI.
- Manage external agencies, consultants, creative partners, PR firms, media partners, and other vendors.
- Establish appropriate governance, performance, procurement, and reporting processes.
- Continuously optimize marketing spend and resource allocation.
Required Experience
- 15+ years of progressive experience in B2B technology marketing, business development, sales, product marketing, or related commercial functions.
- Proven experience building and leading marketing programs and teams within both growth-stage and billion-dollar technology organizations.
- Demonstrated success developing product, sales, marketing, demand-generation, and go-to-market strategies.
- Extensive international experience across US, EMEA, APAC, and other global markets.
- Proven experience building and managing large global GTM teams, including marketing, sales, business development, channel, and alliances.
- Strong experience across demand generation, product marketing, ABM, partner marketing, field marketing, content, digital, web, and marketing operations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop scalable marketing operating models and integrated GTM programs.
- Strong experience in complex B2B and enterprise technology environments.
- Demonstrated experience influencing and collaborating with Board members, C-suite executives, VCs, sales leaders, product leaders, and technology teams.
- Proven ability to connect marketing strategy and investment to pipeline, revenue, customer acquisition, and business growth.
- Experience managing significant marketing budgets, preferably US$3.5M+.
- Exceptional executive communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship management, and leadership skills.
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Communications, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Strategy, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Data Analytics, Marketing Technology, or related disciplines will be an advantage.
