Job Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shipping and Receiving:

Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, which involve inspecting inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, completeness, and label compliance. Additionally, take responsibility for preparing outbound customer shipments in accordance with established MQS14 procedures to prevent incorrect deliveries. Ensure all shipments are accompanied by the proper Bill of lading documents and/or cross-border customs clearance paperwork. Conduct daily reviews of customer EDI requirements to promptly identify any potential shortages requiring escalation and prevent backlog. Ensure that all transactions are carried out using the ERP system and promptly move all incoming material to the designated storage location as defined by Plan for Every Part (PFEP).

Material Handling and Movement:

Efficiently handle and transport materials within the facility using suitable equipment and procedures. Ensure that materials received from suppliers or within internal work-in-progress (WIP) are accurately labeled and stored in accordance with the designated Plan for Every Part (PFEP) location. Facilitate timely and precise delivery of materials to designated areas or work cells to minimize production downtime. Maintain adherence to lean principles for streamlined operations, ensuring accurate alignment of all transactions with the ERP system.

FIFO Management:

Implement and maintain FIFO inventory management practices to ensure the proper rotation of materials.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control efforts.

Material Transactions:

Ensure accurate and prompt recording of all material movements, including customer shipments, incoming receiving, customer/supplier returns, and inter-warehouse transfers, within the ERP system. All material movements must be scanned to the designated storage locations, production lineside, resources, and stored according to the specifications outlined in the Plan for Every Part (PFEP).

Avoidance of Wrong Deliveries:

Conduct thorough checks to verify the accuracy of materials being delivered or shipped in accordance with MQS14 standards. Implement measures to prevent and rectify instances of incorrect deliveries, including ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

Material Conveyance Safety:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating material handling equipment.

Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns related to material conveyance activities.

CPMP (Cosma Program Management Process):

Support in achieving the timely completion of CPMP/ARAS system deliverables by collaborating with the materials and logistics team.

Mafact

Assist the MP&L cross-functional team to develop and implement the following Mafact elements:

1. 4.04 – Receiving Area

2. 4.05 – Material Storage Design

3. 4.08 – Internal Material Flow

4. 4.09 – Avoidance of Wrong Delivery

5. 4.10 – Delivery Performance and Shipping Area

6. 4.11 – Transport Management
