Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical plant fitting tasks during the trade test to demonstrate proficiency in assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical plant equipment.
- Accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications as part of the trade evaluation.
- Utilize appropriate hand and power tools safely and effectively during the trade test procedures.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously throughout the test to ensure a safe working environment.
- Showcase practical skills in diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults during the assessment.
- Complete all assigned test tasks within the stipulated time frame.
Requirements
- Relevant mechanical fitting qualification or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience working as a Mechanical Plant Fitter, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with mechanical plant equipment and maintenance procedures.
