Mechanical Technician (Major - Turbomachinery)

Mechanical maintenance and Troubleshooting activities in the continuous operation plants for all major types of rotating and static mechanical equipment. Installation, removal, fixing back and maintenance of Pumps & Blowers, compressors, fans, Turbines, all types of Valves, Vessels, Columns, Exchangers, Pipes, and other static equipment. Carry out maintenance activity independently as necessary. Handling different types of tools used for maintenance activities and work in high elevation with adequate safety protective equipment. Check work quality and take corrective action to rectify the detected faults through the work examination methods and standards. Thorough understanding of the Isometrics, mechanical drawings and datasheets. Cleaning, preserving & maintaining the removed parts of the equipment. Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system). Good HSEQ (health safety environment & quality) record in his past working. Read, understand, and execute the jobs as per standard operating procedure/ work instruction. Comply with all relevant procedures comprising of Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, Responsible Care, IFA Product Stewardship & energy Management System. Requirements Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 06 years relevant and hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry. Technicians shall have working level proficiency of Read, Write, speak and Understand competency in English language. Shall be well familiar with the hazardous chemicals / materials used in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry, their hazards, and safe practices to perform the Installation/Maintenance activity safely. Shall always adhere to the Safety requirements. Shall have knowledge about PTW (permit to work) system in large scale industries and shall pass COMPANY’s PTW as well as PTW acceptance authorization post training assessment tests. Shall understand and work within the framework of COMPANY’s Maintenance, HSEQ Policy, procedures and regulations.
