Talladega Superspeedway was created as a palace of speed in 1969 by NASCAR founder Bill France, Sr., who coined it “the Greatest Racetrack in the World.”  At a mammoth 2.66-miles with 33 degrees of banking in the turns, it is NASCAR’s Most Competitive venue. The “Fun” track prides itself on being family friendly, especially with the introduction of the Talladega Garage Experience in 2019 where guests are immersed into motorsports like never before. The host of two major NASCAR weekends a year, the iconic ribbon of asphalt is easily accessible off I-20, located between Birmingham, Alabama, and Atlanta, Georgia.


Talladega Superspeedway is looking for licensed professionals that will administer quality care to our guests, staff, and professional racing services participants during events.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform medical triage and treatment functions consistent with Emergency Medicine standards
  • Request / coordinate continuation of care as needed

Qualifications:

  • This is a temporary event-based position.  Shifts and hours will vary based on our event needs.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Successfully pass a driving record check
  • Must complete required online training initially and annually
  • Strong communications skills
  • Practice and maintain professional work ethic, appearance
  • Abide by HIPAA at all times
  • Reliable transportation to and from the track location
  • Positive attitude

Medical Care Center Doctor Required Certifications:

  • Current Alabama Medical License
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Advanced airway skills required
  • Current AHA (or equivalent) BLS certification
  • Current AHA (or equivalent) ACLS certification

Medical Care Center Nurse Required Certifications:

  • RN - current unencumbered Alabama Nursing License

  • RN - currently employed in Emergency Department or Critical Care setting

  • RN - current AHA (or equivalent) BLS certification

  • RN - current AHA (or equivalent)ACLS certification

  • XRay Technician - Current Alabama license/certification

Preferred Certifications:

  • RN - current AHA (or equivalent) PALS certification

  • RN - current TNCC

  • RN - current ENPC
