Medical Receptionist - Vascular Health

At Vascular Health, every patient interaction matters. We’re looking for a Patient Services Coordinator (Medical Receptionist) to serve as a welcoming, knowledgeable first point of contact for our patients and help keep each visit running smoothly from check-in to scheduling and beyond. 

Vascular Health recently joined United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC). Who You Are 

You’re organized, approachable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment. You understand that the front desk is more than a check-in point — it’s an important part of the patient experience. 

You bring: 

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred 

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a medical setting 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment 

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 

• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus 

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred 

• A patient-first, team-oriented approach 

What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Patient Services Coordinator with Vascular Health, you’ll help create a seamless experience for patients while supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Welcoming patients and assisting with the check-in process 

• Collecting and verifying insurance and other required patient information 

• Providing intake forms, office policies, and required documentation 

• Processing co-pays and payments 

• Scheduling new and returning patient appointments according to established guidelines 

• Maintaining accurate patient information and records within the EMR 

• Auditing schedules to verify patient insurance eligibility 

• Providing patients with support, information, and guidance throughout their experience 

• Protecting the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies 

• Supporting a collaborative, patient-focused practice environment 

• Performing additional duties as assigned
