Medior Data / AI Engineer

The client is strengthening its enterprise Data and AI platform to support advanced analytics, AI-driven initiatives, and data-intensive use cases within a regulated environment. The consultant will join a Data Center of Excellence, contributing to the design, implementation, and operation of scalable data and AI solutions built on Microsoft Azure. Requirements · Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes · Contribute to the development and optimisation of a Databricks-based data platform in Azure · Deploy and operate Azure AI services supporting analytics and AI initiatives · Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across data and AI services · Perform performance tuning and optimisation of data workloads · Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and cross-functional teams · Provide technical input on architectural and technology decisions · Support documentation and knowledge sharing related to data and AI infrastructure C. Required Skills & Expertise Must Have · Proven experience as a Medior Data Engineer or Data / AI Engineer · Strong hands-on experience with Databricks · Solid experience with the Microsoft Azure platform · Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes · Strong programming skills in Python and SQL · Experience working in complex or enterprise environments Nice to Have / Should Have · Experience with Azure AI services · Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) · Knowledge of Apache Spark · Familiarity with data governance and security practices · Microsoft Azure certifications
