Job Description:
This role is responsible for Customer Engineering support for AMI BMC solutions. The engineer will work closely with customers, R&D teams, and platform partners to analyze issues, provide technical support, develop customized solutions, and contribute to core technology enhancements.
The position offers opportunities to develop expertise in BMC firmware, OpenBMC and next-generation server management technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Technical Support and Issue Resolution.
Defect Analysis and Debugging.
Feature Development and Customization.
Platform Integration and Core Technology Enhancement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering, or related fields.
Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
Familiarity with Linux environments and development tools.
Knowledge of Git version control is a plus.
Ability to read hardware schematics is a plus.
Understanding of networking protocols, firmware architecture, or server hardware is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience in firmware, software, embedded systems, server management, or related engineering fields.
Experience with BMC firmware development or OpenBMC is a strong plus.
Experience in issue debugging and root cause analysis.
Experience with Redfish, MCTP, IPMI, PLDM, or server management technologies is a plus.
Experience with Yocto Project development and customization is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong ownership and accountability for issue resolution.
